I am a contributing editor at Identity Theory and January Magazine, and fiction editor at Swink. I'm also one of The Rumpus' "Funny Women" and I have a weekly column called "Literary Los Angeles" on the PANK blog. My humorous essays appear more or less weekly on The Nervous Breakdown.
In November 2008 "Impulse," a play I co-wrote with Megan Shank, was performed by the East West Theatre Group in Shanghai, China.
My story "Hospitality" in Wheelhouse won the 2010 MWA award for short fiction.
